Angela Barrios-Cohen M.S. – President
Angela holds an Organizational leadership Masters Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Specialization in Human Resources from Valle University/Penn State University, and a B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia. Angela has extensive experience in Organizational Development, Quality Management Systems and Corporate Training. She is a Certified Pranic Healing Instructor since 2006 and teaches the Basic Pranic Healing and Advanced Pranic Healing workshops. Over the years, Angela has helped hundreds of people to heal, change and improve their lives at a deep level through the use of Pranic Healing, the Meditation on Twin Hearts and service through humanitarian projects both locally and in Colombia.
Esha Uppala – Treasurer
Esha Uppala has over 12 years of experience in Analytics within the financial services industry. She is also passionate about social entrepreneurship, education and childcare. She joined hands with Dr. Albert Lee early 2012 to organize a volunteer project in Colombia to provide healthcare services and education support. The project was a huge success and led to the setting up of GRACE. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Engineering and M.S. in Management in Information Services.
Rafael E. Cohen – Secretary
Rafael E Cohen is a Commercial Airline Pilot and one of his passions is to help communities in need, especially the children and the sick. He has done work with several organizations with communities in Argentina, Ecuador and Colombia, among other places. Rafael also has a B.S. in Alternative Medicine and has extensive knowledge of complementary therapies such as Pranic Healing.
Dr. Albert Lee – Director
Dr. Lee is a Chiropractor and a Podiatrist. As a doctor, he always has been passionate about providing basic necessities for those who were less fortunate. His interests are mainly in healthcare and food security. He extends his sincerest gratitude for checking out our organization. Dr. Lee understands the incredible value of each dollar that is donated to us. We strive for cost efficiency and maximum impact in our daily operations. Dr. Lee hopes to work with you in the near future and change the world for the better.
Dr. Madhuri Thota – Director
Dr. Thota currently provides primary health care services including Obstetric and HIV care to the homeless and under served population in Uptown Chicago since 2006. She has been to Iraq, Haiti and India organizing health camps and helping with disaster relief. She is passionate about women’s’ health globally. She strongly believes that focusing on education, health and empowerment of girls and women will ultimately improve the health and productivity of any community.
Education: Graduated from Lady Harding Medical college, New Delhi, India in 1995. Graduated from Family Medicine residency from Saint Francis Hospital, Chicago in 2002. Completed Maternal and Child Health Fellowship from Oak park, Illinois in 2004.
